Twilight CS: 9 x 4 you will score at 4
White Cardstock:
8 x 3 white score at 4
a piece of white cs 2 ¾ square & 3 ¾ sq
2½ square
Do special stamping and sponging with mask to create fun effect… I brushed edges with ink then stamped my greeting in the very center of my card.
Then using post it notes I mask off areas stamp part of the birthday stamp and sponge
with color
then move postits and repeat.
3½ square
With this I used all the numbers from reminder set inked them with twilight but when I stamped but did not press down hard, you could also do this with second generation technique. I then brushed ink over them.
Now to build the card.
The twilight is your base, fold is on the left, 4 inches fold over, the white 3 3/4 white layers onto this 4″ area and then the 3 1/2 piece with numbers stamped on it goes on top of this. Next the 3 x 8 card that you folded in half will layer with a fold on right side and fold over the 4″ flap.
Next cut the Blue B&T from wonderland at 2 3/4 x 3 3/4 abd attach three of our black button brads using our great new ruler to get perfect place ment.
then attach this piece to the front of the 3 x 8 folded card.
Then I layerd the 2 3/4 sq. on this but make sure you only put tape on center so this does not stick to other layers of card.
The special greeting and masked stamping goes on top of this.
open
I stamped beginning of my greeting here
then open the opposite side
mark their birthday with circle or bling
final greeting

Cool card! Happy 2012!
Great card template…great technique…great tutorial…great sentiment! Love everything about it.
What a super card!! I love when cards are not the “typical” but multi-folds!
What a great card! So unique.
Love this card and all it’s parts! Love the numbers being used as a backdrop!
Can’t wait to use this technique. What a fun card!
I just made 2 of these cards! One is for my grandson. So instead of random numbers I stamped “Nick is 7″ all over it. It looks great. Thanks for a fun idea.
