Limited Edition Stamp of the Month Blog

I started out with one of our new 6 x 6 Kraft Cards. Put in paper cutter short with scallop edge
to the right and cut off 1” (*keep this scalloped piece for wrap).
turn and measure from the opposite end score at 2 7/8 and cut at 2 ¼ .
I have shown a template against the original card so you can get a feel for what it looks like.
There are two cuts and only one new score the other scores are original from the card. You will have to fold the end by the scallop cut in the opposite direction.
I brushed card and all pieces with Smokey plum ink as I put
this card together.
I then cut our pieces of Sonoma B&T two at 2 7/8 x 6 and
two a 1 3/8 x 6 or you can cut at 3 and 1 ½ and just slightly trim. Attach one of each of these to each side of
card. The other two will be used for the

Brush edges with ink and tape back, I used mini glue dots
I then used the zip strip which is 1/2 “cut at 6” each to
decorate this area. I also brushed
these edges with ink. Then I line card up to make last fold. This is the best way I have found to get the
perfect fold. I used the bone folder to make this fold crisp.
Next cut cocoa CS at 1 ½ wide and 10 ½” long This will be
used for wrap I like to make sure the seam lines up with the seam of my card
opening. Now take the *scrap with the
scalloped end cut at 4 ½ and brush edges
with ink and stamp with save date stamp and ditto lines.
Now for the inside of the card:
Using both the stamp of the month called Special Edition and
the stamp set which comes in the Workshop on the go I decorate the inside.
Attach your B&T to each pinstripes down on both so
lighter diamond pattern shows.
