April Blog Hop “Balloon Talk”

If you have arrived here via Kim Schnoor’s Blog you are on the right track!  Glad to have you.  Our stamp of the month  set is called Balloon Talk,  I know I am going to use these a lot for card making and scrapbooking also.

Have you seen the post on pintrest where you make a gift box out of paper plate?  Well I did and then I decided who needs a paper plate, when you have CTMH and the cricut!  So here is my gift box, a welcome gift that could be given to a new coworker or neighbor with some delicious homemade cookies to make them feel special!

welcome box

Check out the instructions below or hop on over to Katy Taylor’s Blog  for yet another wonderful idea!

To make this I simple cut a 10 ¾ circle, went up about three inches from bottom and scored a line then scored another about two inches above that.  Cut in on each side and fold.  They say to tape the sides I used a stapler to make it more sturdy.  I then used our wonderful new papers called Paper Fundamentals Basics Assortment shown on page 125.   For the bow I used our black tolling.  I then used Liquid glass to attach the saying to the front of my bow.  I could not find Lagoon colored tissue at our local Dollar general but did find a vinyl table cloth so now I can make many.  I was thinking outside the box to decorate inside the box. Enjoy the hop!
