If you arrived here from(Melissa’s blog) you are on the right track.  Welcome to our blog hop.  Our Stamp set this month is called Friendship.

The card I’ve designed has a Z fold and a finish called Black magic.

To skip the tutorial and see more great designs hop on over to (Paige’sblog).

Materials needed:

White Card 4 ¼ x 5 ½ (side fold)

X7134C Sweetheart Level Two Paper Kit

Z2105 Black ink

Z2163 White Daisy ink (pigment based)

3505 Watercolor

I stamped the front of my card repeatedly in first and second generation.

I then cut two pieces of B&T at 4 ¼ x 5 ½ I used the grey side of the dotted B&T and the flower mix.  Attach these to the inside of you card.

Now to make your z fold you can make this with any size or design I chose to keep it a rectangle measuring 2 ½ across and 2 ¾ up and down.  First I cut a template of this size and folded it in half, (I brushed the edges of mine so you could see this better)

I then placed my template on the front of my card and traced around the outside half only.

I used my paper cutter to cut this out.

Next fold half of the front of your card back and the rectangle that you will put your focal point on will stay flat.

Cut  two peices of Black Cardstock, one  at 2 ½ x 2 ¾ the other 2 x 2 3/8

Cut Cotton Candy Cardstock 2 2/8 x 2 ½

Cut Cranberry Cardstock 2 3/8 x 2 5/8

Take your smallest piece of Black; this is the piece you will use to do the black magic technique.  Stamp your main image on this piece with you Pigment ink, you will want to let this dry completely (you can use your heat tool if you are in a hurry).   This is shown on white so it will stand out.

With your water color pencils color over the white image; I used a purple, red and pink pencil and left some white at the very edge and top.

Attach this in layers to your other pieces to complete your focal point.

I stamped the verse inside the card making sure it would line up under my focal point when card was closed.
