February Card workshop “Sugar Rush”

all three cards

It might be cold outside but we can add some warmth with spring flowers, and celebrating life and moms.

Card one is a mothers day card but this card can be used for many occasions.. I actually have two options with this card both use the great January  stamp of the month set called more to adore along with the greetings that come in the Mothers Day card making kit we used for these cards.

Card 1

Uses our water color pencils along with our water brush I used our black Memento ink which I prefer when using water colors and the fun gems that come in this kit work perfect for the center of the flowers.

Card 2

Simple stamping along with our dots, embossing folder to a little dimension to this card

Card three

I sanded the raspberry cardstock, brushed edges if white and slate B&T with slate ink and I stamped the heart and flower stamp in our black. When coloring the flowers I used water color pencils but did not use water pen, these pencils work great wet or dry.  I then used our thin cut large heart and the sea glass glitter paper to accent the heart I stamped. It is not a perfect fit but worked really well since I was cutting it at the flower area.  The saying I used here actually come from one of our new stamps set in our annual catalog called short and sweet on page 45.
